Pros and Cons in comparison

Pros and Cons in comparison

BMW M 1000 R 2023

BMW M 1000 R 2023

The M 1000 R is definitely well done and the whole package fits. Even though it is certainly aimed more at sporty riders, the bike can also prove itself well on longer country road rides with minor restrictions in terms of riding comfort. The lower, straight handlebars and forward seating position in combination with the higher footrests automatically result in a sportier dynamic that does not give rise to couch feelings, especially on longer rides. On the other hand, there is good contact with the front wheel and sufficient lean angle freedom. In combination with the powerful drive, the Hyper Naked definitely plays in the top league. Apart from slight vibrations, the powerful RR engine is a force to be reckoned with in the naked segment. The new electronics help even less experienced riders to release the concentrated power in a controlled manner with conservative settings.

BMW S 1000 RR 2023

BMW S 1000 RR 2023

For me, the most noticeable of all the innovations were the electronics and the steering geometry. Thanks to the additional information of the new steering angle sensor and the revised riding aids, the new S1000RR now has an electronic package with which you can not only ride safely, but also quickly, which will especially please the faster faction. But with a few additional features such as Slide Control, the average rider also has the opportunity to try out the riding style of the pros without risk, in order to cut a good figure in riding photos. And apart from that, it's also fun. The new steering geometry brings a little more calmness to the front and improves feedback, which is an invaluable advantage, especially at the limits. So the next round in the hunt for the best superbike is reopened.
